Here are a few tips to help you choose your perfect veil.
Veils come in many different styles, colours and lengths and we at White Lace & Promises can offer a vast range as well as the option to brief your own bespoke design. The key to making the right choice is to decide - The right length for you and your gown.

The 3 main veil lengths are shoulder, waist and floor length. You need to decide whether you would like to keep your veil on throughout your day, or just for the ceremony and photographs. Longer veils are more difficult to wear all day, but are very dramatic and definitely have the wow factor.

The right colour.
Veils are available in a rainbow of colours, with an increasing number of brides now choosing more alternative colours for their dresses, you can now chose from classic white or ivory through to reds and blues and everything in-between for your veil. You can always add colour with crystals, beads, pearl or embroidery if a hint of colour is all you desire.

Where to wear your veil.
All of our veils come on a comb and therefore will simply slide into your up-do hairstyle securely. You can position the comb directly behind you tiara, making your veil sit round your arms and shoulders more and giving you more height on top of your hair. Or you can wear your veil underneath your up-do which gives a more sleek appearance. If you want to wear your veil over your face as you walk down the aisle, wearing the veil behind your tiara gives the perfect shape.
